There is nothing like the local church when the local church is working right.  But most of us have never seen the local church working right.  The very first church experienced persecution on a level most of us can't imagine.  But as they endured through these difficult times, God blessed them and the church actually flourished.  By looking at how they dealt with difficulties can help us see what we need to do as well.
